Sculptra & Radiesse | Natural Collagen Restoration
Rebuild your skin's underlying collagen scaffold and achieve gradual, long-lasting rejuvenation with Collagen Biostimulators at NU Med Spa. Serving clients across Westlake Village and Encino, our aesthetic clinical specialists utilize advanced biostimulatory injectables—including Sculptra® (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) and Radiesse® (Calcium Hydroxylapatite)—to stimulate your body’s natural production of structural collagen and elastin. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that simply add immediate volume, biostimulators and hyperdilute treatments work deep within the dermis to gradually firm sagging skin, smooth deep facial folds, and improve skin texture across the face, neck, decolletage, and body.

FAQ
1. What exactly is a bio-stimulator?
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that use a gel to physically take up space, bio-stimulators are compounds injected into the skin to "alert" your body to produce its own collagen.
2. How is this different from a regular filler (like Juvederm or Restylane)?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers provide an immediate "plump" and can be dissolved if needed. Bio-stimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse provide a more gradual, natural-looking result by building actual tissue (collagen and elastin). They generally last much longer than HA fillers
3. Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site for 24–48 hours. Most patients return to their normal activities immediately, though we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.
